Job Summary
Are you ready to take on a leadership role where you can drive innovation optimize processes and ensure excellence in risk data quality and P&L consistency Join Axpo Iberia as our Mid Office Services Lead and play a key role in shaping the future of our trading and sales operations.
What you will do:
Lead and oversee the Risk Data Quality function focusing on investigating tracking and resolving complex issues related to deal representation in Axpos systems.
Define implement and operate checks to reduce the number of risk adjustments and improve data quality.
Propose and drive the implementation of improvements in deal modeling reporting and quality assurance throughout the Deal Life Cycle.
Develop and operate P&L consistency checks related to balancing activities ensuring accurate reconciliation in central and local balancing books.
Actively participate in international projects covered by the Mid Office.
Set performance goals for the team fostering efficiency and encouraging maximum dedication.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and collaboration.
What you bring & who you are:
Education: A university degree in STEM Economics Business Administration or a related field.
Leadership skills:
High ethical standards creating a safe and inclusive environment for your team.
A focus on connection belonging and fostering positive relationships.
Openness to innovation and experimentation.
Professional expertise:
Strong technical analysis and business design skills in complex organizations.
Knowledge of financial or commodity trading; experience with ETRM systems is a plus.
Familiarity with large multi-linked IT systems; experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA Confluence) is an advantage.
Understanding of software development methodologies data analysis and programming languages.
Personal qualities:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured approach.
Results-driven with a customer-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Willingness to travel when necessary.
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish both spoken and written.
