The Functional Genomics Expertise Center provides advanced genome editing CRISPR screening and functional genomics support to research groups across CCB.
We are seeking a molecular biologist with expertise in functional genomics to support the development and dissemination of CRISPR technologies guide and support genomeediting and screening projects and collaborate with computational colleagues on multiomics data integration and analysis. You will also work with AI experts to help implement predictive models that improve guide design and functional genomics workflows.
You will join an expanding team working closely with the Laboratory for Functional Genomics and Gene Regulation (Prof. Olaf Klingbeil) CCB Expertise Centers and VIB Core Facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver training and workshops on CRISPR technologies genomeediting design and functional screening workflows.
- Support CCB groups in designing executing and interpreting functional genomics and CRISPRbased experiments.
- Collaborate with computational biologists to integrate CRISPR screens with transcriptomic epigenomic and spatial datasets.
