Role: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Must have 1-year professional SNF experience.
Associates Degree from an Accredited College.
SLP License
1. Evaluate and Diagnose Disorders
- Assess patients with speech language voice fluency cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Conduct standardized tests and clinical evaluations
- Identify communication difficulties and swallowing problems
2. Develop Treatment Plans
- Create individualized therapy plans based on patient needs
- Set therapy goals and track patient progress
- Adjust treatment strategies as needed
3. Provide Speech and Language Therapy
- Help patients improve speech clarity and pronunciation
- Treat language delays and communication disorders
- Provide therapy for stuttering and voice disorders
4. Treat Swallowing Disorders
- Diagnose and treat swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
- Teach safe swallowing techniques
- Recommend diet modifications when necessary
5. Educate Patients and Families
- Provide guidance on communication strategies
- Teach exercises for speech and language improvement
- Counsel families on how to support therapy at home
6. Maintain Patient Records
- Document evaluations treatment plans and patient progress
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
7. Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals
- Work with doctors nurses occupational therapists and physical therapists
- Coordinate care plans for better patient outcomes
8. Use Assistive Communication Devices
- Recommend and train patients to use communication aids when necessary
