ABOUT KAMAL AGRO:

Kamal Agro is a leading company in Tanzania specializing in the sourcing and trading of high-quality coffee and other agro produce. We are committed to sustainable practices and building strong relationships with local farmers to ensure the best products for our clients worldwide.

POSITION IN THE COMPANY

The Business Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Kamal Agros operations including strategic planning business development and day-to-day management. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the agro produce especially coffee industry strong business acumen and excellent leadership skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
  
• Oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of all departments.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with coffee farmers suppliers and customers.
  
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  
• Manage financial performance including budgeting forecasting and reporting in association with the finance department.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  
• Should be prepared to be stationed anywhere in Tanzania if needed.
  
  

Requirements

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Agriculture or a related field (MBA preferred).
  
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the coffee industry or a related field with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
  
• Proven track record of business development and achieving growth targets.
  
• Strong understanding of the coffee supply chain and market dynamics.
  
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  
• Proficiency in financial management and strategic planning.
  
  

Skills:

• Strategic thinking and problem solving.
  
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software.
