Micro Market Attendant (Full-Time Future Requirement)

NEX Expeditionary Micro Market NATO Keflavik Air Base (Hangar 831)

American United Group anticipates future hiring of Full-Time Micro Market Attendants as the NEX Retail Unit expands operations.

The store operates 24/7 (including holidays) and full-time staff will support broader operational responsibilities including inventory control warehouse logistics system ordering and asset protection compliance.

Due to base operational requirements candidates must meet access and transportation criteria.

Key Responsibilities

Full inventory management and monthly stock reconciliation

System ordering and stock level forecasting

Oversight of chilled/frozen product handling

Quality control and shrink/loss reporting

Asset protection monitoring

Kiosk / ADM POS system support

Warehouse container coordination and unloading

Forklift and pallet jack operation

Customer support and operational issue escalation

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

Icelandic National (required by client)

Own vehicle required for airport/base access

Ability to obtain NATO base credentialing clearance

Ability to pass background checks

Forklift / Pallet Jack Authorization (Class J mandatory for full-time role)

Physical capability to lift up to 18 kg

Communicative English and Icelandic.

Food Safety & Hygiene

Completion of Food Safety / Hygiene training (per TB MED 530)

Food Protection Manager certification may be required if assigned as PIC
