Location:Mandan High School

Salary:Starting $55550 for Bachelors degree; starting $57072 for Masters degree.Full benefit package included.

Position Summary:

• Position is responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise; that motivates each student to cultivate physical fitness and appropriate social and emotional adjustment; that discovers and develop talents of students in physical achievement; and that develops strength skill agility poise and coordination in individual dual and team physical activities and sports in accordance with each students ability.

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess and evaluate student progress providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and disciplined learning environment.
• Participate in professional development staff meetings and school functions.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests.

Qualifications:

• Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
