2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days 100% FTE
Location:Mandan High School
Salary:Starting $55550 for Bachelors degree; starting $57072 for Masters degree.Full benefit package included.
Position Summary:
- Position is responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise; that motivates each student to cultivate physical fitness and appropriate social and emotional adjustment; that discovers and develop talents of students in physical achievement; and that develops strength skill agility poise and coordination in individual dual and team physical activities and sports in accordance with each students ability.
Essential Functions:

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and disciplined learning environment.
- Participate in professional development staff meetings and school functions.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests.

- Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
