Key Job Responsibilities:
- Installs propagates and maintains the health of new and existing plants and landscape using a variety of vehicles and equipment
- Maintains clean and clear lawns walkways roadways and parking lots to ensure they are free of debris litter snow and ice
- Implements and monitors chemical and fertilizer programs
- Identifies and acts to remedy plant diseases and insect damage
- Constructs lawn and landscaping projects including soil grading seeding and sodding

JOB DETAILS
These positions assist UW Stouts grounds department with their landscape projects. Duties will include spreading of mulch raking shoveling planting mowing spraying weeds and other duties as assigned. Candidates need to be able to lift over 50lbs frequently and be able to work outside in all kinds of weather. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. This is a $16.00/ hour 40 hour per week seasonal position that runs from May 18th through August 29 2026. If you have questions contact Nolan Dowd via email at

Employment is contingent upon the final candidates completing a criminal background check and being cleared to work by the Human Resources Office.
