Underwriting Support Supervisor - Aviation
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Underwriting Support Supervisor - Aviation to join a team. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence every 3 days out of the week. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the underwriting support team ensuring high-quality output fostering collaboration and driving engagement. Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $68000 annually
- Annual Bonus: 10% of base salary

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the underwriting support team by fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee training and ensure the delivery of high-quality work by account management staff.
- Coordinate and manage workloads to meet production and service expectations.
- Conduct performance evaluations coaching sessions team meetings and one-on-one discussions with staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive team engagement and create a motivating work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (7 years of relevant insurance experience may substitute for a degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of insurance experience with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting support processes and procedures.
- Experience with rating and policy issuance platforms as well as system testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
