Job Summary
Summary:
The Production Associate is responsible to perform all packing functions within the department including hand packing assembly of kits and quality inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance.
- Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always Doing the right thing for our customers.
- Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member
- Unpackage and prepare raw material for use in production
- Retrieve and prepare work in process parts for the next production process
- Prepare finished products for inventory through light assembly cleaning cutting finishing labeling taping stacking and inspecting and recording information
- Start and stop machines inspect product and make small adjustments as needed
- Able to recognize when equipment is not working correctly and communicate with technicians for resolution
- Track output scrap and other key information as required
- Clean and inspection equipment as needed
- Help in the relief of breaks as needed
- Maintain records and documentation
- Other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
- Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
Working Conditions:
This position requires walking sitting reaching or standing to a significant degree and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently lifting less than 10.
