Role Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build automation systems that scale support operations. The engineer will own end-to-end production systems that convert Slack and office-hours requests into structured high-quality tickets and accelerate resolution workflows. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on shipping production-ready automation with strong operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems converting Slack/office-hour requests into structured support tickets
- Build integrations such as Slack Jira automation routing triage workflows and lifecycle synchronization
- Implement agentic workflows for automated context collection triage summarization and recommendations
- Build scalable APIs and event-driven pipelines
- Ensure production readiness with retries idempotency monitoring and failure handling
- Add observability (logs metrics dashboards alerts) to maintain reliability
- Deliver high-quality maintainable and resilient production systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders through demos documentation and rapid iteration
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10 years of overall IT experience
- 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience building production systems
- 5 years of coding experience in Java Python or Go
- 5 years building and shipping production-grade automation services
- 5 years of API development experience (REST/gRPC authentication/authorization versioning documentation)
- 5 years working with event-driven architectures retries/idempotency rate limiting and robust error handling
- Strong understanding of system architecture scalability service boundaries and data flow design
- Experience or strong practical exposure to agentic workflows using:
- LangGraph
- LangChain
- Orchestration frameworks
- RAG patterns
- Evaluation frameworks and guardrails
- Experience building integrations such as Slack Jira automation lifecycle sync and context enrichment
