Job Summary
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
- Review the physicians referral (prescription) and the patients condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
- Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Document findings progress and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete a written plan of care develop goals based on evaluation findings and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues including physicians and insurance companies
- Ensure timely documentation including daily notes weekly workers compensation reports progress reports initial evaluations discharge summaries and incident reports
Qualifications :
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state South Carolina license
- CPR certification
- Exercise sports rehab and manual-based skills
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Responsible individual with a solid work ethic
- Excellent communication and people skills
- New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
Additional Information :
This position does offer a sign-on bonus.
The salary range begins at $75000 and increases based on relevant experience. Salary is based on various factors including relevant experience knowledge skills other job-related qualifications and geography. Additionally this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Companys incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical dental vision 401(k) paid time off and other benefits are also available subject to the terms of the Companys plan.
