Job Summary
As a member of a team providing services to Airbus Defence and Space you will have the following responsibility:
- Ensuring that customer requirements for Eurofighter avionics have been correctly and fully implemented;
- Responsibility for two of the most important mission computers in the Eurofighter;
- Early detection of errors support for system and software developers (m/f/d) and preparation of flight certification for the hardware/software entrusted to you.
Qualifications :
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Electrical engineering or Computer Science or Engineering minimum Masters/Diploma degree;
- IT / Information systems at least 3 years professional experience;
- Experience in avionics integration is required;
- MS-Office at least detailed specialist knowledge;
- Experience in software development for embedded safety-critical systems ideally in relation to DO178 V-Modell EASA Part 21J / ZDv is required;
- Fluency in English is mandatory;
- Knowledge of German is an advantage;
- Enjoyment in familiarising yourself with complex technical issues critically questioning them and contributing to problem solving;
- Ability to coordinate small cross-functional and international project teams;
- An independent and conscientious approach to work;
- Openness to the application of agile development methods;
- Strong creativity and enjoyment in designing suitable flight scenarios for testing.
