Medical Receptionist

Job Summary
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional warmly manner
- Answer incoming calls schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Provide information and assistance to patients and employees
- Verify patient demographics insurance and collect copays and patient balances
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Handle referral authorizations and basic office paperwork as required
- Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Maintain patient records and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers printers and telephones.
Experience:
- Medical receptionist experience preferred but not required
- Customer service experience required
Job Type:
- Monday-Friday: 7:45am-5:30pm
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
