We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our dynamic this role you will be responsible for analysing business requirements defining solutions and ensuring the seamless implementation of HR and Retail technology mostly focused on Workforce Management Systems. You will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that our systems are aligned with Rituals objectives while continuously identifying opportunities for process and integration improvements and optimizations. Your ability to translate business needs into clear actionable insights will be key to driving successful outcomes.
As our new Business Analyst you will focus on the data input and output part of our Workforce Management tools. Together with your direct BA colleague you will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle from gathering business requirements and documenting them to supporting the testing and implementation phases where your focus lies on making sure data alignment is created tools and models function according to plan and end users can use data from our systems for their work. Creative problem-solving excellent communication and a keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role. As we continuously evolve you will help ensure that we maintain a clear vision and focus on delivering solutions that make a difference for the business.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders (HR Retail) to document detailed requirements
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve business processes for efficiency and integration compatibility.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to create actionable functional specs solving complex issues with clarity.
- Testing Support: Oversee unit and user acceptance testing to meet business needs and quality standards.
- Problem Resolution: Address and prevent incidents and disruptions.
- Integration Monitoring: Monitor the performance of various integrations identifying areas of improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain clear project records in Jira and Confluence.
- Expert Consultation: Leverage insights and guidance from our AMS partner on specialized topics to ensure alignment with industry best practices and expert solutions.
Qualifications :
You are energetic humble and have a sense of humor. You have excellent problem solving documentation and communication skills. You can adapt to the fast-paced way of working at Rituals. You want to explore new tooling and domains and you have project management skills and a positive well figure it out attitude. You get energy from working closely with colleagues with different perspectives to achieve shared goals.
Skills
- You have 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst and bring a bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. HR Business IT and/or Management).
- Experience with HR systems (ideally Quinyx) within a retail organization is a plus.
- You are inquisitive by nature and have a high attention for details.
- You are a strong organizer with a knack for effective planning and task management.
- You have excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological solutions.
Whats next
- Within 10 days you can expect an update from the Recruiter Tom.
- The process will take 3 to 4 steps: Recruiter Screen at least 2 interviews of which one includes a case. Potentially a personality assessment will be discussed separately.

Note:
We like to work from the office and we hope you like that as well. For the role within Rituals were having an 80/20 split or better: 4 days from the office one day from home on fulltime employment.
