Job Summary

We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Harrow to recruit a committed Music ECT. This full-time permanent position starts in April 2026 and is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre practitioner to join a vibrant Performing Arts department. Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 as a passionate practitioner

  • Follow a structured ECT induction pathway with regular progress reviews and support

  • Foster a desire in students to explore their musical talents and achieve excellence

  • Collaborate with a successful department to maintain high academic standards

  • Participate in a dedicated induction programme tailored for the unique needs of ECTs

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Music or a related discipline

  • PGCE or QTS (achieved or pending)

  • Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: 37868 to 56154 (Outer London)

  • Full-time permanent position with a focus on professional growth
