Job Summary
A well-regarded secondary school in Bolton rated Good by Ofsted is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to join its pastoral team as soon as possible.

The Role
As Pastoral Support Officer you will work closely with the pastoral team teaching staff and senior leaders to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils with behaviour attendance and wellbeing needs
Working with students on a one-to-one or small group basis to promote positive engagement
Monitoring attendance and supporting strategies to improve it
Assisting with safeguarding processes and pastoral interventions
Liaising with parents carers and external agencies where required
Supporting the implementation of behaviour policies and restorative practices
You will play a key role in helping students remain engaged in education and achieve their full potential.

Previous experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting
