ServiceNow SPM Developer

• ServiceNow Platform Proficiency: Deep knowledge of the Now platform architecture data model and development best practices.
• Scripting Languages: Strong proficiency in JavaScript Glide Script HTML CSS and XML.
• ServiceNow APIs & Tools: Expertise with Glide Record API Business Rules Client Scripts Script Includes UI Actions Flow Designer Workflows and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.
• Methodologies: Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Certifications (Preferred): ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist - Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) are highly desirable.

• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively gather requirements explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work within cross-functional teams.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to writing clean efficient code and ensuring all configurations meet quality standards.
• Adaptability: The ability to quickly adjust to changing business priorities and new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration and Development: Configure and customize all aspects of SPM including Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Demand Management Resource Management Financial Planning and Enterprise Agile Planning.
• Solution Implementation: Develop solutions for specific SPM applications such as Innovation Management Roadmap Planning Scenario Planning and Application Portfolio Management (APM).
• Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g. ERP CRM Jira) using various web technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs JSON and Integration Hub.
• Reporting and Analytics: Design and implement dashboards reports and KPIs using Performance Analytics to provide stakeholders with actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing support quality assurance activities (UAT) manage update sets and ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development.
• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and ensure the platform is updated with the latest releases.

Good-to-have: ITIL V3/V4 certification is a plus
