Responsibilities
- Provide expert urological care to patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay informed about advancements in urology and related fields
- Participate in patient education and support initiatives
- Assist with minor surgical procedures as necessary
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus on Urology
- Associate level experience in a clinical setting
- Board certification in Urology preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Active medical license in the state of practice
Schedule: 24-hour weekday or weekend call 7a-7a
Level III trauma
Daily Census: 5 patients 5-10 phone consults
Cases: General adult urology and ureteroscopies
Inpatient and ED rounding required
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
