As a Locum Urologist you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care and managing various urological conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive urological assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological disorders
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Provide guidance and education to patients regarding treatment options
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in on-call duties as required
- Stay current with advancements in urological medicine
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Board certification in Urology is preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting focusing on urological care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts 7-10 day stretches
Duties: Inpatient rounding and performing surgeries
EMR: Sunrise/Allscripts
Must be board-certified
