This contract position is an on-site opportunity that provides the chance to work in a dynamic medical practice environment delivering high-quality care to patients in need.
As a Locum MD you will play a critical role in managing patient care conducting assessments and coordinating treatment plans. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients and the overall success of our medical team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Document patient interactions and care plans accurately
- Participate in hospital rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Stay updated on best practices in internal medicine
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in hospitalist medicine or internal medicine preferred
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3 hours per day
No call requirement
Setting: Remote
Daily Volume: 100 over reads (25-30 ultrasounds remaining are plain film)
Must be board-certified
