Job Summary
- Unload/Load freight from trailers and load outbound trailers using forklifts.
- Label Freight
- Count and on occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the shippers bill of lading
- Starts heaters placard trailers as required.
- Must take an active role in the safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor proper storage of dunnage etc.
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications :
- WHIMS/Dangerous Goods Certificate (These items are covered with in-house training programs)
- Developed problem-solving critical thinking decision-making and judgment skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs sometimes repetitive
- Ability to multitask and manage various tasks successfully
- Willing to Train
- PT role could lead to full time
- Must be Safety minded.
- Must be goal orientated.
- Forklift experience
