Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Branding the Copywriter will be responsible for writing and editing text content for marketing and promotional materials in a variety of formats. This position which will help translate the overall vision and creative direction of the department into easily digestible and engaging content with the goal of increasing commercial revenue within the Airport and associated businesses. The incumbent will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Branding as well as other members of the marketing strategy team to formulate and coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials. This is a professional non-supervisory position.
Essential Functions
Content Creation & Strategy
- Conceptualize and write clear persuasive and compelling copy aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Develop content for multiple platforms including websites emails social media advertising campaigns print materials presentations and internal communications.
- Collaborate closely with designers marketers communications specialists and external partners to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
Brand Voice & Messaging
- Ensure consistent application of brand voice tone and style guidelines in all written content.
- Assist in developing refining and maintaining brand messaging standards to enhance clarity relevance and engagement.
Editorial Planning & Management
- Maintain and manage editorial calendars ensuring timely and strategic content distribution.
- Collaborate with the creative team and stakeholders to coordinate content requirements revisions and approvals.
Research & Trend Analysis
- Conduct research to understand target audiences market trends and industry developments.
- Utilize insights and analytics to refine messaging optimize performance and identify opportunities for content innovation.
Quality Assurance & Review
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy grammatical correctness and compliance with style guidelines.
- Conduct regular content audits and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals.
- And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communications Marketing or a related field.
Five or more years of professional copywriting experience preferably within a government agency or corporate marketing environment.
