Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove District and Redditch to assist with the appointment of a Capital Quantity Surveyor on a 6-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 32.43 - 41.08 per hour

Responsibilities:

Preparing contract documentation (Tenders Bills of Quantities Work Schedules Specifications Schedule of Rates)
Procuring goods services and works contracts
Undertaking site measurements and valuing works
Preparing interim payments variations and final accounts
Analysing and agreeing claims

Qualifications:

Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying (pre- and post-contract)
Strong knowledge of various building contract forms
Experience managing revenue capital and externally funded budgets
Experience producing and issuing contract administration documentation
Knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations including CDM

This role requires a Basic DBS
