Job Summary

Position Overview

Join a large multi-doctor veterinary practice located in a welcoming rural community in Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians interested in practicing both ambulatory and in-clinic medicine within a collaborative mentorship-driven environment. The role offers exposure to a diverse caseload and the ability to develop skills across multiple species while maintaining meaningful client relationships.

Practice Environment
  • Fully equipped in-house laboratory with advanced diagnostic capabilities including digital radiography and ultrasound
  • Mobile digital radiography large animal ultrasound units and fully stocked veterinary trucks for ambulatory services
  • Strong culture of mentorship collaboration and teamwork
Key Responsibilities
  • Split time evenly between in-clinic appointments and field calls (approximately two days each per week)
  • Provide comprehensive medical surgical and preventive care to both large and small animal patients
  • Perform routine and advanced diagnostics using modern in-house equipment
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and the surrounding community
  • Participate in the shared emergency and on-call rotation
  • Continue developing clinical skills with guidance from experienced colleagues
Qualifications
  • DVM or VMD with active Ohio licensure (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Strong communication skills and dedication to client and patient care

  • Interest in mixed-animal practice and ambulatory medicine

  • Commitment to collaboration and ongoing professional growth

  • Open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates
