Job Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees visitors facilities and company assets. This role maintains an on-site security presence monitors access control and surveillance systems conducts routine patrols and responds effectively to incidents and emergencies. The position plays a critical role in preventing security breaches identifying risks and supporting business continuity through a professional and consistent security posture.
This is a full-time fully in-office position.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of all onsite personnel visitors vendors and company property

Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols
-
Monitor and operate access control and video management systems
-
Maintain daily activity logs and complete detailed incident reports
-
Greet and assist guests in a professional manner
-
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
-
Provide security support for special events and initiatives
-
Enforce all company security policies procedures and regulations

Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma required; college education preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum two (2) years of security or related experience preferably in a corporate setting
-
Prior military law enforcement or executive protection experience is a plus
-
Clean driving record required
-
Must maintain any required licenses and certifications
-
Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within six months of hire
-
Ability to pass a background investigation
Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work varied schedules including day or night shifts and overtime as needed
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Professional demeanor with positive attitude
-
Proficiency with Windows-based systems and email; experience with access control and surveillance systems preferred

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
-
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
-
Strong situational awareness attention to detail and adherence to established security procedures
