Job Summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Director to lead our Surgical Services department in Las Vegas NV. As the Registered Nurse Director of Surgical Services you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department including managing staff ensuring quality patient care and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. You will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and other department heads to develop and implement strategic plans for the department as well as collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all staff within the Surgical Services department including nurses surgical technicians and support staff - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care - Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements - Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other department heads to develop and implement strategic plans for the department - Oversee the budget for the Surgical Services department and ensure efficient use of resources - Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care - Participate in the recruitment hiring and training of new staff members - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff members - Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical techniques and technology and implement new practices as appropriate - Act as a liaison between the Surgical Services department and other departments within the organization - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all staff members Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required Masters degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical services with at least 2 years in a leadership role - Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team - Proven track record of maintaining compliance with regulatory standards - Proficient in budget management and resource allocation - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and departments - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance paid time off and a retirement savings plan.
