Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support daily material and warehouse operations at a data center project in Lenoir NC. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring materials equipment and documentation are properly tracked staged and distributed to support ongoing construction and infrastructure activities.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with prior administrative or warehouse coordination experience who is highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and comfortable managing spreadsheets and reporting tools.
This is a stable first-shift opportunity supporting a mission-critical data center environment.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for data center materials and equipment
- Track and maintain accurate inventory logs using Excel and Google Sheets
- Manage purchase orders packing slips delivery tickets and shipping documentation
- Stage and distribute materials to field teams and subcontractors
- Maintain organized storage areas and material tracking systems
- Communicate with vendors drivers project managers and field leadership
- Monitor material levels and proactively report shortages or discrepancies
- Assist with warehouse audits and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and data center protocols
- Support general administrative tasks related to logistics and site operations
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics coordination warehouse administration or material management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Suite
- Highly spreadsheet-oriented with strong data entry accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in an active construction or data center environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift Certification (preferred)
- Experience supporting construction or data center projects
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or material management platforms
Compensation & Benefits:
- $24-$26/hr depending on experience and a successful interview
- First-shift schedule (MF typically no weekends)
