Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Registered Nurse Director Case Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management and leadership with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The Director will oversee the case management department and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the case management department including staffing budgeting and quality assurance. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of case management programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes. - Provide leadership and guidance to case management staff promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to case management. - Participate in the recruitment hiring and training of case management staff. - Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including insurance companies community resources and other healthcare facilities. - Stay current on industry trends and best practices in case management. Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in case management with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. - Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
