The Placement Specialist is responsible for connecting qualified candidates with employment opportunities that align with their skills experience and career objectives. This role builds strong relationships with employers hiring managers and program participants to facilitate successful job placements. The Placement Specialist plays a critical role in workforce development initiatives recruitment operations and client satisfaction while operating in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and match qualified candidates with appropriate job opportunities

Build and maintain relationships with employer partners and hiring managers

Conduct candidate assessments interviews and skill evaluations

Provide resume review and interview preparation guidance

Track placement metrics retention rates and employment outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation within applicant tracking systems (ATS)

Coordinate interview scheduling and employer communications

Monitor candidate progress through onboarding and initial employment stages

Support workforce development programs and reporting requirements

Ensure compliance with employment regulations and organizational policies
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)

25 years of experience in recruitment staffing workforce development or career counseling
-
Strong relationship-building and networking skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM platforms

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
