Position Highlights
We are looking for an Estimator to provide support within the Estimating Services team. We need your help toexpand the ability to deliver timely and excellent customer service working in the material damage industry while working in a team environment.

Responsibilities include:
* Assesses damage to vehicles including specialized heavy equipment and non-typical commercial vehiclesexotics luxury custom and collector vehicles.
* Repair/replace authorization on personal claims including technically complex vehicles
* Review and discuss the estimate and repair process with customers collision repair facilities and other business partners
* Supplier support
* Problem solving
* Quality and cost control
* Evaluate and settle total loss

The Estimator responsibilities include field work in repair facilities tow yards and salvage facilities throughout the region and occasionally work outdoors in all weather conditions. Some travel will be required.

Successful candidates will have:
* Previous automotive material damage estimating experience and a collision repair diploma trade certification or industry training.
* A relevant combination of education and experience in automotive material damage
* Knowledge of current standards techniques technological developments and material damage estimating methods
* Demonstrated ability to effectively work with customers and other business partners
* Ability to leverage effective customer service interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting
* Proficiency with computers and software applications
* Demonstrated proficiency with Mitchell and Audatex will be considered an asset

Successful candidates must also pass a health assessment based on the job requirements meet the provincially legislated requirements of the Criminal Records Review Act and have a valid BC drivers license.

Work hours and schedules will be dependent on your location and applicable Collective Agreement provisions.

Work arrangements defined:

Hybrid 8 you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
