Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Attendant PT in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access at entrances and/or gates by verifying identification managing visitor and contractor sign-in issuing temporary badges as directed and directing arrivals to proper check-in areas.
- Support dock and yard operations by processing inbound and outbound truck traffic confirming appointments and/or delivery paperwork as required by site procedures and documenting activity in logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility loading areas parking areas and perimeter and complete required patrol documentation and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
