Job Summary
The assistant supervisor is responsible to develop maintain and improve service to its customers. The assistant supervisor will assist in the recruitment selection guidance development and performance management of staff that will provide this service. The incumbent must gain self-improvement develop continuous improvement work through and create change. The assistant supervisor helps provide leadership and direction for the Lab and performs problem solving of immediate operational issues. Works with the supervisor to identify and analyze problems and implement changes to improve the work units effectiveness. Assumes supervisory responsibility in the absence of supervisor. Participates in representing the department at organizational meetings.

Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Lab Technician. Proven leadership abilities.
Licensure or Certification:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification required.
Radiology Technologist: RT(R) with additional certification CV CI RCIS or RCES required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
