Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Fremont CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly respond to concerns and deliver a customer-focused experience while supporting a positive workplace. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas vehicle storage lots and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials and direct employees contractors drivers and guests according to site procedures.
- Complete detailed reports and logs document unusual conditions and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or the client point of contact.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
