Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driver Rounds in LIMA OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-tech aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge activity document observations using a computer or tablet and provide customer-focused communication to employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and post orders within an aerospace and defense location including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas gates and perimeter routes as permitted by the post assignment and site conditions.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining sign-in records and directing traffic flow in accordance with site policies.
- Complete required security-related reports and logs document unusual activity and/or hazards and communicate key information during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
