Job Description
As a Security Guard - Tech Center Roving Patrol in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech media and telecom location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support access control and visitor flow. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients employees and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices production areas parking lots and perimeter areas within a technology and telecommunications location helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and interior areas observe for unusual conditions and report concerns in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public response personnel as needed.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports incident documentation and shift turnover communications using site-required tools and/or systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
