At Garden Spot Village our Dining Services Utility Aides maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all Dining Services areas. This role ensures floors equipment and tableware are clean safe and ready for food service while supporting staff and residents.
What Youll Do
- Work on the serving line as assigned
- Operate dishwasher record temperatures and wash pots pans and other utensils used in food preparation
- Sweep and mop floors
- Remove trash garbage and recyclables from all cans large and small in dining venues and kitchens
- Clean equipment and other department areas
- Assess problems with dishwashing equipment and report promptly to the supervisor
- Stock china and other supplies as needed
- Pick up and break down soiled dish carts from café and lounge areas
- Work cooperatively with food service staff and other departments
- Attend in-service training programs for Dining Services employees
- Observe proper food safety standards
- Perform quality assurance duties as assigned
- Collaborate with residents resident representatives and facility staff
- Carry out other responsibilities as directed by the supervisor
- Perform all duties efficiently timely and professionally
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

- Treat residents and the public with kindness respect and a cheerful manner
- Identify with and promote the Mission and Philosophy of Garden Spot Village
- Must work every other weekend and scheduled holidays
- May be required to assist with special functions
Additional Information
This position is full-time 3 - 4 days per week shifts vary between 8:30am-5:00pm & 11:00am-8:00pm. Every other weekend and holiday11:00am-8:00pm.
