Job Summary

Environmental Health and Safety Advisor (EHS Advisor)

  • Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

  • 100% onsite

Catalents Nottingham facility focuses on early-stage development of small molecule drug candidates from the bench to clinic. This facility offers an array of services that support oral dosage forms that include characterization formulation and analytical development manufacturing and clinical packaging labelling and worldwide distribution. This MHRA approved facility includes cGMP dose form manufacturing packaging analytical and development laboratories with OEB 1-3 and controlled drug storage to handle even your most challenging products.

As an EHS Advisor youll play an important part in helping us keep our people and site safe. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their Health & Safety career who is eager to learn grow and gain handson experience across laboratory pharmaceutical and operational environments. Youll work closely with our Manager HSE and wider teams developing your skills while supporting daytoday safety activities.

The Role

  • Supporting the delivery of our sitewide EHS strategy and daytoday safety activities.

  • Helping improve EHS processes systems and documentation through continuousimprovement ideas.

  • Assisting with incidents investigations and learning how rootcause analysis works.

  • Working with teams across the site and taking part in audits inspections and GEMBA walks.

  • Supporting risk assessments EHS training inductions and clear safety communication.

  • Contributing to key EHS meetings compliance tasks emergency preparedness and health surveillance activities.

The Candidate

  • Were looking for someone who is enthusiastic motivated and keen to build a career in Health & Safety. Youll ideally bring:

    • A strong interest in Health & Safety and a willingness to learn (a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is a bonus but not essential).

    • Good communication skills and the confidence to work with people at all levels.

    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle tasks effectively.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access).

    • A positive attitude especially when working under pressure or to tight deadlines.

    • Any exposure to scientific laboratory or pharmaceutical environments is helpful but not requiredfull training and support will be provided
