Summary:
Directs daily operations with a focus on maximizing profitability and operational efficiency. Oversees the full employee lifecycle including recruitment training and performance management. Manages procurement visual merchandising and comprehensive financial reporting for both the Gift Shop and Flower Cart. Reports directly to the Womens Board Gift Shop Chair.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Requires knowledge of retail sales business operations and personnel management to assure efficient operation of the gift shops.
- Computer skills necessary to perform payroll and bookkeeping activities.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively with customers vendors staff and Womens Board volunteers.
- Management skills required to schedule supervise and evaluate subordinates work.
- Analytical skills are necessary for pricing merchandise and promoting its sale.
Education:
High school graduate
Work Experience:
5 years of retail work experience two years of supervisory experience.
Salary Range: Minimum 19.89/hour - Maximum 34.81/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
