Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Union City TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal at a food and beverage location in an access control role where you will greet team members and visitors verify credentials issue badges manage entry logs and watch for security-related concerns at key checkpoints. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification managing visitor and contractor sign-in issuing temporary credentials when authorized and directing traffic to designated areas.
- Monitor and document inbound and outbound deliveries trailers and employee traffic reporting irregular activity and/or policy exceptions to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications completing reports and coordinating with authorized personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production-adjacent areas parking lots and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
