Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) Full Time Only
Our client is a local family-owned home care agency whose goal is to raise the standard in home health.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide one-on-one medical care for a patient in their home. The ideal candidate will ensure the patients health comfort and overall well-being while maintaining medical standards.
Compensation:
- $30-$35/hr depending on the case
- W2 and weekly Pay
- $1000 Sign on Bonus
- Health Benefits after 60 days
- 401K with up to 4% match on Month 7
- PTO to start accruing on month 13
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care according to a personalized care plan
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with mobility hygiene and personal care
- Educate patient and family members on disease management and care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Maintain detailed accurate nursing records
- Respond promptly to changes in the patients condition
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in Florida
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in home health or private duty preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
