Description

As a Traveling Lead Field Technician here at Honeywell you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will have the opportunity to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions and driving customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and youll work out of the Ft. Washington PAarea and travel throughout the Northeast US.

In this role you will be traveling weekly. Honeywell will provide an expense card for meals hotels flights and rental cars.



Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers.
  • Provide maintenance help sorting and field services teams. Commissioning and troubleshooting at sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel 100% of time throughout the West coast US to customer sites.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in field service engineering in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Prior experience as a lead technician.
  • Technical knowledge and expertise with conveyors electrical troubleshooting and PLCs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in project management and execution.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Hands on experience with VFDs pneumatics blueprints and schematics.
