RoR and Cloud Developer

Job Summary:
The candidate will be part of the team focused on delivering Control Panel solutions for hosting. The Control Panels are APIs used to control the hosting environments. They need to be secure have very high availability be responsive and handle errors well above all. That means working on distributed systems ensuring proper downstream dependency management recovery from failure etc. The current hosting products serve a few million sites.

You will be...
Writing and maintaining code in one of the languages - Ruby / Python
Working towards a Unified solution for Control Panels across all hosting products
Turning complex business objectives into simple and scalable solutions
Using data and analytics to improve products and customer experience
Tracking down the root cause of issues that come up
Accountable for code quality scalability and testability
Working collaboratively with a distributed team
Participating in group code reviews

Your experience and skills should include...
6 to 9 years experience in software development
4 years experience with at least one back-end technology and building APIs
Experience with databases like MySQL RDS
Understanding of software security best practices
Experience using build/task automation tools
Experience with Linux shell commands
Experience working with legacy systems - maintaining and deprecating
Comfortable in all aspects of the agile development methodology
Knowledge of AWS technologies
Experience with highly scalable software solutions
Experience working with containerized solutions
Experience with Redis ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ or similar
