About the Float Pool

Surgical Technologist in the float pool will travel to various West Michigan Corewell Health facilities. Included not limited to: Grand Rapids hospitals and surgery centers Big Rapids Pennock Zeeland Luddington Greenville.

Scope of work

A Surgical Technologist in the float pool will float to various Corewell Health West locations as needed. Maintainsresponsibility for preparation of the surgical suite intraoperative handling of instruments maintenance of the sterile field and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures makingappropriate responsesas responsible formaintainingknowledge of surgical procedures and principles related to serve as a Preceptor.

Qualifications

RequiredAssociates Degree in Surgical Technology OR the successful completion of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology. Not all schools involve anAssociatesdegree.

Surgical Technologist ExperienceRequired
AHA or ARC Basic Lift Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Required
