Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support our clinical team at Metro Reentry in Atlanta GA.

This role is ideal for nurses with correctional medical-surgical or behavioral health experience who are seeking flexible as-needed shifts.

Position Type

Shift Requirements

• Must be available for day or night shifts

• Required to work 12 weekends per month

• Holiday coverage required

• Minimum of 2 shifts per month

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $45.00/hour

• Shift Differential: $3.00/hour

• Weekend Differential: Additional $1.00/hour

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess plan and respond to the physical psychological and social needs of the patient population in a correctional setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (required)

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required

• At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience required

• Experience in one of the following-correctional behavioral health or acute care required

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance including drug screening and criminal background check
