Key Responsibilities
-
Design and develop GIS-based web and desktop applications.
-
Build interactive maps dashboards and geospatial visualizations.
-
Develop and maintain spatial databases and geoprocessing workflows.
-
Integrate GIS solutions with enterprise systems via APIs and web services.
-
Perform spatial analysis and data modeling.
-
Customize GIS tools and automate processes using scripting languages.
-
Manage and optimize spatial data layers (vector raster).
-
Ensure data accuracy quality and metadata documentation.
-
Deploy GIS applications in cloud or on-prem environments.
-
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS systems.
Required Skills

Strong experience with GIS platforms such as:
-
ArcGIS (Desktop Server Online)
-
QGIS
-
-
Proficiency in programming languages such as:
-
Python (ArcPy GeoPandas)
-
JavaScript (for web mapping)
-
SQL (for spatial databases)
-

Experience with web mapping libraries such as:
-
Leaflet
-
OpenLayers
-
Mapbox
-

Experience with spatial databases:
-
PostgreSQL/PostGIS
-
SQL Server (Spatial)
-
Oracle Spatial
-

Knowledge of RESTful GIS services and APIs.

Understanding of coordinate systems projections and geospatial data standards.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) for GIS deployment.

Familiarity with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON Shapefile KML).
-
Experience with remote sensing and raster analysis.
-
Knowledge of spatial ETL tools such as FME.
-
Experience with mobile GIS applications.
-
Understanding of government GIS standards and compliance.
