60% FTE every Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at the American Family Childrens Hospital in Madison WI.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Shift differentials: $4/hour evening $10/hour weekender

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

Communicate and coordinate Operating Room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
Implement safe competent and efficient patient care within policies procedures and standards and care plan to perioperative patients regardless of complexity.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

6 months of recent independent PACU Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care Surgical ICU Operating Room or Surgical IMC experience Required
3 years of recent Operating Room or PACU experience

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
