Work schedule: Full-Time/Part-time positions

Specific Duties and Essential Functions:

Tier I Security Officers may be required to perform the duties of a Security Officer Level l provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling. At this level Tier 1 officer performs work with instructions and procedures under general supervision which may not necessarily be at the site where the officer is posted.

• Exercises good interpersonal communications skills.
• Coordinates work in a team environment or work individually under the general supervision of senior security officers who may not necessarily be at the site where the officer is posted.
• Tier I officer is responsible for assuring the quality of their work and is required to function as the first response to security incidents/matters.
• Duties of securing watching guarding protecting as directed including responses to alarm signals and attendances at designated site(s).
• crowd control functions including at shopping centers major events sporting tournaments nightclubs sporting venues and other entertainment venues or public areas where events concerts or similar activities are conducted.
• May patrol in a vehicle two or more separate establishments or sites including where more than one site held by the same business is patrolled.

Tier I Security Officer Expectations:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid AZ Guard Card
• Tier I Security Officers must be able to walk/stand for extended periods (i.e. 90% of shift).
• Able to work in various environments and temperatures (i.e. rain/snow; extreme heat/freezing weather) indoors/outdoors.
• Able to occasionally lift/carry up to (40) forty pounds.
• If necessary climb stairs ramps or ladders during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods.
• May be required to work holidays and weekends.
• Education Licenses and Certifications Required
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
• Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have completed all company mandated training
• Mandatory company training have already completed Tier I training
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service
• Effective communication skills
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must speak read and write fluently in English.
• Professional appearance and attitude
• If prior military upon job offer must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated.
