Job Summary

Description

As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 4 (FAA) here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in the assembly and maintenance of complex systems ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our operations contributing to the overall success of our projects and enhancing customer satisfaction through your expertise in assembly mechanics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform assembly and maintenance tasks on complex mechanical systems ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure quality and functionality of assembled products.


Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Significant experience in mechanical assembly and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards related to assembly mechanics.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and specialized equipment for assembly tasks.
  • Experience with quality control processes and inspection techniques to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

WE VALUE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in assembly mechanics preferably in an aerospace environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
