POSITION: Teacher Pre-Collegiate Camp 2030 (4 vacancies)
LOCATION: 7350 Broadway Denver CO 80221 - District
PAY RANGE: 5 Days Per Diem
(Per diem is the selected employees calculated daily rate.)
CALENDAR:
- Prep/Training Day: Monday June 1 2026
- Camp Days: Tuesday - Friday June 2 - 5 2026
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- REPORTS TO: Camp 2030 Coordinator
GIFTED SUMMER CAMP OVERVIEW:
Camp 2030 teachers will support 8th grade students who apply to participate in this 4-day summer pre-collegiate program. Teachers will collaborate with Post-Secondary Counselors and support approximately 75 students. Monday June 1 2026 is a preparation and training day for camp teachers and the camps high school peer leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current Mapleton Public Schools employee.
- Must have a current (active) Colorado teaching license.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Participate in planning for Pre-Collegiate Summer Camp 2030.
- Collaborate with Post-Secondary Counselors to deliver activities aligned to Camp 2030 objectives.
- Assist in securing materials and resources needed to implement lessons and activities.
- Help establish and maintain a productive learning environment.
- Chaperone student field trips to college campuses.
- Communicate regularly with Post-Secondary Counselors and other camp teachers during planning and implementation.
- Follow all district policies and procedures.
- Follow the guidelines and expectations of the Camp 2030 Coordinator.
