Job Description
As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operator in Cumberland RI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a busy healthcare location you will monitor security-related systems coordinate responses to calls for service and support officers on post with clear calm communication. You will help maintain access control track activity using computer and/or tablet tools and provide professional customer service to staff patients and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Operate a dispatch or communications center by monitoring alarms cameras and other systems; answering phones and/or radios; and routing calls for service to on-site personnel and/or local responders as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner gathering key details prioritizing events and coordinating appropriate notifications and response.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports for incidents dispatch activity and system checks escalating concerns through the designated chain of command.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 1 Years.
- Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
